Important Information

Thank you for signing our liability waiver and paying the deposit. We will be emailing your your final step along with your reservation information.

  • It is very Important to contact me 3 days prior to your trip to get the lockbox code so you can access the key on the east wall of the wood shed.

  • I keep the propane tanks turned off when not using the stove. Some of the knobs on the stove have been overturned so make sure the stove is off. The oven has been disconnected.

  • Bring a water filter to filter your drinking water. There is a filter up there, but I can't guarantee its functionality based on the last groups usage.

  • Have a plan for emergencies if you get hurt - working cell phone with spare battery, Minus Zero or below sleeping bag, Contact person when you start hiking and arrive safely to the cabin, first aid, etc..

  • Bring some spare paper towels, paper plates & toilet paper in case supplies are low.

  • Download and learn how to use GaiaGPs noted in the guide document. I can give you a username and password during the trip.

  • The cabin is a strenuous 2 mile+ and 2 hr+ hike up a mountain.

  • At times, the cabin goes days or weeks between visits, please make us aware of any deficiencies or things that seem out of order.

  • Review the checklist when leaving to make sure the cabin is left securely (Especially turn off Propane).

  • There is a security camera mounted to a tree 10 feet north-east of the "mailbox". Feel free to cover it for privacy when arriving, and uncover it before leaving.

  • Please leave the cabin clean for the next group - There is a dewalt battery powered vacuum for cleaning the rug and comet cleaner under the sink works great for cleaning the countertops.

  • I would appreciate an email or phone call after your trip letting us know how it went :)

Feel free to call me at 508-330-0407 or Kent Koeman 508-395-7579 anytime if you have questions.
